Many different types of wood (cherry, oak, hickory, maple) were harvested, dried, planed and were hand tooled for the handcrafted cabinets and counters in the kitchen.

Cedar trees were harvested , bent, dried, and assembled for stair railings to access all levels.

Specific fixed twig railings and logs were selected, cut, dried, and assembled to accentuate the wraparound deck that offers panoramic views of the 3 acre lake and 184 acres of wooded common ground with spring fed stream that fronts this captivating Log Cabin .

Hardwood floors on the main floor, soft pine floors in the upstairs, and stamped concrete with in- floor heat in the lower level were installed for low maintenance and comfort.

In addition to the in-floor heat in the lower level enjoy roaring wood fires in a custom built stone fireplace on the main floor and electric heat in the two upstairs bedrooms.

There is a bathroom on all three levels-- full bath in the lower level, half bath on the main floor, and shower bath off the two bedrooms upstairs.

Grid in double pane windows are abundant throughout this elegant log cabin offering excellent views of the surrounding woodlands and lake.

This spectacular log cabin is enhanced by the uniqueness of the covered balcony just off the master bedroom . Even the birds have a home here.
